BURSI is presented in two formats.
Denver Area Programs:
- A 1 1/2 day course of study is held approximately 4 times per year at Johns Manville's Technical Center in Littleton, Colorado, where a number of hands-on demonstrations are scheduled. Because of the technological nature of the curriculum, the course is given by invitation for architects, engineers, specification writers, owners, and roof consultants.
The course meets the AIA/CES criteria. Registered AIA members earn 11 learning units (LU's) that qualify for the health, safety, and welfare of the building, its contents and occupants. (11 HSW Learning Unit Hours) .
- A 1 1/2 day roofing contractors seminar is held periodically in Denver, Colorado, covering an abbreviated curriculum. These programs cover the most recent issues in the roofing industry.
Road Locations Around North America:
The following generic programs are presented throughout North America. They are open to and can be co-sponsored by various groups such as local, state and bi-regional CSI Chapters, AIA Chapters and Roofing Contractor Associations. These seminars meet the AIA/CES criteria. AIA registered architects can earn 1 learning units (LU's) per hour that qualify for the health, safety, and welfare of the building, its contents and occupants.
