Denver, Colorado (8/5/2003) --- Johns Manville introduces a new flexible pipe insulation for industrial and commercial applications. Micro-Flex™ CTS Precision V-grooved Pipe Insulation is supplied cut-to-size and grooved for easy installation over pipes from six to 30 inches in diameter. A patented process is used to cut precise V-grooves that allow the insulation to wrap with no gaps. Micro-Flex™ CTS is made from semi-rigid fiber glass with a homogeneous, random fiber orientation that delivers compressive strength and excellent thermal insulating properties. Butt strips and a factory-applied self-seal lap make the insulation easy to install. Micro-Flex™ CTS can be used to insulate hot or cold concealed and exposed piping systems with operating temperatures ranging from 0° to 850°F.
