Johns Manville Polyester lightweight Spunbonds are specially developed for a breadth of Liquid Filtration applications. The primary usage is in coolant oil, Pool & Spa and numerous other liquids including water, food and beverages.
The product range covers extremely light weights, 0.34 osy (10g/m²) and end up on medium weights at 4.42 osy (150g/m²). Thanks to our new spinneret technology we can produce extremely fine filament fibers with a significant increase in product properties. Additionally our unique process capabilities provide high media uniformity as well as excellent strength in both directions, resulting in very good dimensional stability for effective filtering of particles out of emulsion, metal fabrication, wastewater and chemicals.
Our FDA approved Spunbonds with no binders or other treatments provide excellent stability for the optimum pleating properties especially required in the Pool and Spa market segment.
